Based on data from broadly conceived research, the authors have created a comprehensive overview of used brands, their characteristics, historical relationships and costs of their implementation. At the same time, the book provides a necessary introduction to the theory of brand management, both in general and in specific application to the field of tourism. In the first part, the publication thus offers a more general information base not only for students, but also for professionals in the field of tourism management. Its second part can fundamentally facilitate the decision to choose a certain brand for entrepreneurs in the tourism industry. Although quality marking has been used in the tourism industry for a long time, it is, together with the relatively new eco-label, an important factor in the customer’s decision to use a given service. At least a basic orientation in the given issue is thus necessary for a successful business in the field.
